Voice search is a technology which allows user to perform a search on internet/web by verbally asking a question on a smartphone,smart device or a digital computer rather than using the traditional approach of typing the query in a search box.A query is answered by a search engine or a digital assistant.

Voice search, also called voice-enabled, allows the user to use a voice command to search the Internet, a website, or an app. In a broader definition, voice search includes an open-domain keyword query on any information on the Internet.


Voice search is growing exponentially, year on year bases and is becoming more popular and easy with all age groups, especially the younger generation.


Voice search is a speech recognition technology that allows users to search by saying terms aloud rather than typing them into a search field. The proliferation of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other small, Web-enabled mobile devices has spurred interest in voice search.

Siri is a virtual assistant that is part of Apple Inc.'s iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, macOS, tvOS and audioOS operating systems The assistant uses voice queries and a natural-language user interface to answer questions, make recommendations, and perform actions by delegating requests to a set of Internet services.








4. AMAZON ECHO/Echo Plus    (Amazon)

Amazon Alexa, known simply as Alexa, is a virtual assistant developed by Amazon, first used in the Amazon Echo and the Amazon Echo Dot smart speakers developed by Amazon Lab126.





5. Samsung Bixby



Bixby




Bixby is a virtual assistant developed by Samsung Electronics. On 20 March 2017, Samsung announced the voice-powered digital assistant named "Bixby." Bixby was introduced alongside the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A during the Samsung Galaxy, Unpacked 2017 event, which was held on 29 March 2017. Samsung officially unveiled Bixby a week before launch but it only made its first appearance during the event. Bixby can also be sideloaded on older Galaxy devices running Android Nougat.
